I bought it because the screen is beautiful to work on - edge to edge glass, extremely high resolution makes reading and picture editing a joy. The case of the workstation is beautiful orange metal - like a bright mac! Accidental Damage Cover still active: Though I have had it since Dec 2009, I have not used it that much. It has been in my study and is not getting the usage a machine like this deserves. It is still within the Dell 3 Year Complete Care Accidental Damage Cover. This is special insurance deal with Dell where if the machine breaks - or you damage it accidentally, they will send out an engineer to replace the part or replace the machine, at no cost to you. This is an amazing insurance - I have spoken with engineers who do these Dell call outs, and unlike any other company, they will actually replace the part even if it is clearly your fault for accidentally damaging it.
